Orlando, Day 2-5??
I have lost count of the days, isn’t that the point of vacation.
We have been having fun, yes, Noah is still alive. And behaving much better.
I am exhausted.
We went to sea world on Saturday and met a dear friend of mine, Janet, we met online and she has 2 kids the same age as Noah and Jacob. We only got to hang out for a few hours because we had a wedding to get to. We had fun and are hoping to go have dinner with them on Thursday night, we shall see.
The wedding. ugh. Was beautiful. A few of us had a few drinks before the wedding. it’s was great and relaxed. The ceremoney starts and things were getting serious, about the point where the bride and groom feel like they’re going to throw up…well… Jacob did it for them… We were in the 2nd row…my aunt, uncle, the brides brother and his fiancee’ were in front of us. He started coughing and making this noise…my first mom reaction was to get up and go..(it’s an outside wedding on a little beach) and as soon as I stand and turn the poor baby lets it go…..exorcist style. Twice. OMG, I was horrified. I have no idea on how it didn’t land on anyone. All down my arm, and in my hair. BLAH.
I’m standing in back and some sweet lady is helping me wipe off, Jacob is smiling at this point. Then, the officiant has to say “ok, lets just take a minute, because none of us can hold it anymore” everyone was laughing so hard. It was a good mood breaker. Then they keep on with the wedding and the heavens open and it POURS…everyone runs under the pavillion and we finish the ceremony.
After that Tony took Jacob back to the hotel room and the party starts. Noah had such a good time, dancing the night away, playing in the sand. We all were dancing fools, and, my family knows how to party. I’ll skip the details of the night and I’ll end that with I had a BANGING headache all day sunday.
Jacob still running little fever, but is eating again as of today.
Sunday we checked out of Holiday in and into our Animal Kingdom lodge, so awesome. I wsa checking in and the guy told me we got a complimentary upgrade!!! We come upstairs and go out on our balcony and THERE WAS THE GIARAFFE!! We ended up with a savannah view after all. Beautiful.
We went to MGM last night and saw the muppets 3D show (i almost threw up when jacob took my glasses off, remember not said hangover) then we got to take pics with Buzz lightyear and the green army man..Noah didn’t wanna stand in line to get his pic with Woody. We then ate at the pizzacade that is all Toystoried out.
didn’t do too much, saw some behind the scene thing for Chronicles of Narnia, new one coming out in May!
Came back, passed out. My legs and feet hurt so bad.
Then today we went to animal kingdom to see all the animals, got NOah’s pic with Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet!
came back to nap, then tony isn’ feeling well, noah isn’t feeling well..and it’s thundering and lightening and POURING. So we’re staying in tonight….and paying 9.95 for 24 hours of internet…blah.
I forgot my cell phone charger at home and we were in Orlando before I realized it and was never able to find a walmart or target to get one, so i’m using tony’s phone, with my SIM card. His phone sucks. the IM doesn’t work, the text typing is a pain in the ass, and there’s no camera.
Love you and miss you all, we’ll be home, sometime.
